According to the Washington Post’s Animal Watch, a woman was walking her dog near W&OD Trail and Maple Avenue when a bulldog broke free from his leash and bit her dog on the leg. While the woman attempted to separate the two dogs she received injuries to her hand which was treated.
The owner of the bulldog refused to give the woman his name, however he did give her the name of the dog and the facility were the dog receives treatment so that rabies information can be sought.
