A 16-year-old Criglersville teen was viciously attacked by at least four dogs in Madison County, Virginia. The girl, who was swimming in the Robinson River, was bitten dozens of times.
According to NBC 29, the owner of the dogs is now facing charges involving vicious dogs, reckless ownership, and causing serious injury. The owner has a kennel with dozens of Chesapeake Bay retrievers that is near the river, but doesn’t have fencing on the river side where the dogs escaped. Police say that they have received calls from neighbors in the past with concerns about the dogs.
